SPOTTY FUN RUN

Students will complete laps around a Fun Run track on campus to raise funds for Durham. The event is kicked off with a pep rally, after which students begin gathering pledges from family, friends and neighbors to support various school initiatives.

Each year the PTA hosts an evening out to raise money for Durham. Proceeds help make meaningful improvements to the school as well as support important programs for our students. This event typically includes dinner, dancing, auctions, and tons of fun.
This year's event - Soiree in the Shadows - will be hosted on Friday, October 25 at the SPJST Lodge. Come in costume and show your support for Durham when you buy your admission tickets, participate in the silent and live auctions, or participate in spooky activities and games like aura and tarot card readings. Dinner is provided, and you can sponsor your favorite teacher or staff member attending with a discounted teacher ticket. Hosted in the fall and spring semesters, Book Fair is an awesome way for students to purchase new books while supporting the on-campus library. Students will preview the Book Fair early in the week to make their shopping lists, and then attend a shopping session with their class later in the week. Class shopping times will be communicated via Living Tree. Before school and after school shopping is available as long students are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL (IFEST)
The International Festival (iFest) is a celebration of cultures around the world. Every year each grade level studies a different country and it all comes together at iFest. Hallways are transformed into the countries of focus and cultures are showcased through food, drinks and crafts.
This year students are studying Belize, Venezuela, China, Egypt, Italy, Somoa and USA (with a Texas focus). Grab your passport and get ready to travel!
Spotty Mart is an on campus, week-long holiday mart geared towards Durham student's holiday shopping lists! Students will attend a shopping session with their class during the week to buy holiday gifts for their families, friends, and teachers. Class shopping times will be communicated via Living Tree. Items range in price from $0.25 to $10.00. Items are gift wrapped free of charge and sent home with the students.

We are so sorry to announce this year's Spring Fling has been canceled.
This fun event is held on campus, and students and their families are invited to join the festivities. Activities available include games, inflatables, face painting, a video game truck and more! Wristbands are available for purchase for unlimited games and most activities, and will get you the most bang for your buck! Individual activity tickets will be for sale at the event only.
