What is Spotty Olympics?
Spotty Olympics is Durham’s only student-led fundraiser to benefit the school this year. The event is a fun run with inflatable obstacles placed around the race course. This year there are two new obstacles! Students obtain pledges from family, friends, and neighbors and raise funds based on the number of obstacles they complete. Along the way, students receive important leadership lessons from the Apex Leadership Team. This feel-good program is fun and engaging - just wait until your kids come home each day so excited about the event!
How do we participate in fundraising?
In the spring, your child will receive an information packet at school with instructions for obtaining pledges. All fundraising is done online through a fun, interactive forum. In addition to the benefits the school receives, the kids also benefit by receiving special prizes for the donations they and their classrooms receive!
Please spread the word far and wide for this program. Family, friends, and neighbors are traditionally the biggest sponsors for this fundraiser.
